Our USB Cables Used for Your Home Appliances
Plug shape, cable structure and board-side termination can all change with the product.

A simpler build for your appliances charging. We also provide compact 6-pin Type-C connector to remove unused data contacts.

Useful for your project firmware work, factory testing and after-sales diagnosis. USB 2.0 service cable designs can extend to 5 m when signal and voltage-drop limits allow.

USB outside, a PCB connector inside. Space-saving wire-to-board include 1.0 mm pitch connectors and a mounting height of about 2.0 mm.

Flexible USB cable constructions on the market have been tested through several million movement cycles, with bending radii around 10–12.5 times the cable diameter in your equipment.

Type-C parts combine IP68 sealing with a −40°C to +85°C range and high speed versions can carry data at up to 40 Gb/s for your equipment.

Available USB connector families can cover operating temperatures from −55°C to +105°C, depending on the selected part and cable materials.
What Makes ECOCABLES USB Cables Work Better in Appliances
Our USB cables support stable power delivery and data transmission. Conductor specifications and shielding structures are tailored to each application.

You can choose the conductor size. At the cable’s rated load, the VBUS voltage drop can be controlled within 500 mV, while the ground-path voltage drop can be kept within 250 mV.

SuperSpeed designs support a differential impedance of 90 Ω ±7 Ω. Core-wire breakout length is minimized and the termination length is kept within 2.5 mm.

The aluminum foil, braided shield and drain wire extend fully to the plug end. A near-360° shield termination is used to reduce EMI and RFI interference.

One-piece overmolding and a custom strain-relief design protect the areas most vulnerable to bending and conductor breakage.

Uses copper alloy terminals, with a pull-out force ranging from 6 to 20 N, capable of withstanding 10,000 insertion and removal cycles.

Customizable insulation layer of XLPE material, with a maximum temperature resistance of up to 150℃. Other temperature-resistant materials such as PVC/TPE are also available.

Passed UL 94 V-0 flame retardant test, with strong fire resistance and high safety in your household appliances.

USB cables are compatible with different versions of devices, such as USB 2.0 cables and USB 3.0 cables.
USB Cable and Connector Development in One Process
ECOCABLES manages the USB plug, board-side connector, terminal, wire, crimping and overmolding in one workflow. Our engineers confirm the mating part, wire gauge, latch direction and Pin Map before sampling, then complete the 2D drawing and DFM review. For Type-C projects, we check contact resistance below 40 mΩ initially, below 50 mΩ afterward and plug extraction force between 8 N and 20 N.

USB Cable Reliability for Appliance Conditions
We conducted specific tests for USB cables used in high-temperature and confined environments, including a 120° bending at 3.7 times the cable diameter and heat aging at 105°C for 120 hours. This can effectively extend the overall lifespan of your equipment, up to 10 years, and can withstand more than 10,000 bending forces, enhancing the durability of the equipment and reducing your maintenance costs.

ECOCABLES USB Cable Manufacturing Capabilities

ECOCABLES has spent more than 10 years building cable assemblies for custom projects. Our 8,000 m² facility houses 10 production lines and a dedicated overmolding workshop, allowing the team to prepare USB samples in 3–5 days together with DFM notes, 2D drawings, Pin Maps and connector-matching details. Hundreds of existing USB molds shorten development, while new tooling can be completed in as little as 7 days and molded-part tolerances can reach ±0.02 mm. 2 production-line cable testers check continuity on every USB cable. Hipot and programmable load equipment then verify insulation and temperature rise for the projects. And all results linked to the production batch through MES.
USB Cable Solutions for Home Appliances
We develop USB cable assemblies around the appliance structure and electrical requirements. Shielding and connector layout can change with each project.

This solution is built for coffee makers/water purifiers/smart oven with display panels. It links the external USB port to the main control board. It supports charging and signal transfer without adding a separate connection path. The board side can match JST/Molex/TE or another specified connector. And the one-piece molding helps secure the port within the panel. USB-C parts carry up to 5 A and meet IPX7 and UL 94V-0.

Cleaning Appliances like floor washers often place the cable close to a narrow outlet. Our USB cables have fine-stranded copper and a wear-resistant TPE or PUR jacket. And the extended cable tail protects the bad point. Constructions allow a bending radius of 12.5 times the cable diameter and undergo millions of flex cycles from −35°C to +70°C. This lowers the chance of broken wires and unstable data contact during daily use.

When USB 3.0 cables, which are transmitting data at high speed, are placed very close to wireless devices, signal instability may occur. We adopt a twisted-pair design, which can counteract the electromagnetic energy from external radiation, and implement physical layer protection with double-layer shielding. On the aluminum foil shielding layer, a copper-woven shielding mesh is added. The dual-layer shielding structure effectively blocks external electromagnetic noise, preventing signal lag when you use the device.

When multiple high-power household appliances such as heaters and water heaters are connected to the same USB extension socket, the cables are prone to generating heat and may have the risk of short circuit. We use GB/T5023 power cables. In the USB power strip, there is an automatic protection device activated when there is a power overload, as well as a lightning protection device during thunderstorms. This ensures that you don’t have to worry about safety issues when using household appliances.

Customer Feedback on ECOCABLES USB Cables
It takes 7–15 days to finish small batch of standard USB cable orders. As for large or custom orders, 15–30 days is a normal lead time.
Type-A means a one-way rectangular connector. Type-C lets you plug it in from either direction. The shape says little about speed or charging power. One Type-C cable may carry basic USB 2.0 data. Another may handle USB PD and high-speed signals, so please check the tested rating.
A charge-only cable carries power but leaves out the data path. A basic USB 2.0 data cable adds D+ and D− conductors. Type-C designs also use CC contacts to detect orientation and connection roles. Counting wires rarely gives the full answer. The Pin Map does.
